A Seattle couple has turned their love for travel into a lifestyle — by living permanently on cruise ships. With only one suitcase each, Richard and Angelyn Burk have been living on the seas for over a year now. The couple believes that living on cruises is significantly cheaper than paying off their mortgage.
Speaking to Australia’s 7News, Angelyn, a former accountant, said, “We love to travel, and we were searching for a way to continuously travel in our retirement that made financial sense.” The couple, who are in their 50s, have taken many cruises, hopping off at various ports of call to explore the world.
