In the movie, the two star-crossed lovers, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, share an intense kiss behind closed doors without knowing about the rivalry between their families. What makes the kiss so special is that the audience knows what they’re doing is essentially forbidden, given the history of their families.
